BULLETBELT “Down in the Cold of the Grave” Album Recommedation

It was with the release of 2012 album “Down in the Cold of the Grave” by Wellington band, Bulletbelts, that I first, properly, heard of the band and their sound etc.

As I say in the video, in- what I find to be an interesting twist to events, the original guitarist of No Tag, the ’80’s punk band who did the original version of ‘Mistaken
identity’- which Bulletbelt covers on this album, bulletbelt-down_in_the_cold_of_the_graveactually talked to me about Bulletbelt.

The world would likely be more familiar with their 2014 effort, ‘Rise of the Banshee’, due not only to the wickedness of the music, but it’s inclusion on the Deathgasm (the movie) soundtrack.
Incidentally, the music video for ‘Deathgasm’ and ‘Sniper’ were premiered via Metal Hammer.
